We are 1st Shirenewton Scout Group. As members of The Scout Association, our aim is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
We run sections for four age groups:
- Squirrels for 4 to 6 year olds
- Beavers for 6 to 8 year olds
- Cubs for 8 to 10½ year olds
- Scouts for 10½ to 14 year olds

We are part of the Scouting District of Monmouthshire and the Area of Gwent.
